Never have I employed someone as dishonest as this man. Around the middle of August, I called KF Construction to ask for an estimate on repair of a roof leak. He asked for a picture and I sent it. He asked about the size of the repair. I didn’t know but said it might be 3’x5’. He said it could run me $700-800. He said he would send his people out. Three men came around August 23 (2022) and went to the roof. Within the hour they came down and said that they already repaired the leak. They were not there to give an estimate. The repair was not 3’x5’. It was closer to 3”x5” and took one shingle to repair. So, less than an hour for three men and one shingle. I received an email bill from Frank at KF Construction for $760. Since my repair (without a physical estimate) was pretty high for one hour’s work for three men and one shingle I asked him for a breakdown of costs and to reconsider the large fee. He didn't change his bill. I asked him five times. I have the emails. He never answered. If this is the way "Frank" runs his business, you should know what kind of person he is.

My dealings with the owner Frank over the last 3 years as a renter has been very poor. His building failed inspection every year by housing for multiple deficiencies. He don't actually do any of the work but sends Amish people to work on the plumbing and electric. He stated these ppl are "highly trained" but needed me to explain how to fix my sink and was cutting live wires behind my smoke detector without turning off the breaker or bugging the wires. Frank is typically on vacation or at "camp" so there is often a wait time between corispondence. I would NEVER recommend this company for work or Frank as a landlord. He takes advantage of the section 8 program charging the max voucher rent he possibly can but don't provide the proper upkeep or trys to charge the renter for replacement items (hotwater tank) behind housings back. If your looking for a GREAT general contractor try JDP construction. He even threatened to take me to the magistrate because of my honest review that shows what kind of money grubber this guy is

Frank is very nice came out and gave me a bid on a new roof and/or repair for my insurance and told me if a repair would work or if it needs a new roof
